Your University of Otago username is created automatically for you when you first enrol as a student at the University of Otago.
How do I get a student username and password
To get your student username and password:
- Log in to eVision using your personal email address as the username and the password you created when you started your application to study.
- Click the alert on the front page. You will be required to enter your mobile phone number.
- Wait for a text that contains your temporary password.
- Log in to eVision again using your student username (e.g. bonja007) and the temporary password supplied by text.
- Once you have logged in, change your temporary password by clicking the Change password link.
- Contact AskOtago if you do not receive your password or it does not work.
Your temporary password will expire after seven days if it isn't changed, and it must be changed before you can log in to any University application.
