Proofpoint is the University of Otago's cyber security education and awareness training delivery platform. Completing this training in mandatory line with the Digital Communications policy.
Throughout the year you will receive emails to your University of Otago email address inviting you to attend self-guided training modules. Most training assignments take 5 to 15 minutes to complete.
If you hold both a student and staff account, you may receive multiple copies of these emails. Complete the training linked to your staff account. You do not need to complete the training more than once. Proofpoint is not able to detect multiple accounts so you will continue to receive training notification emails on both accounts.
If you experience any issues watching the training videos, try using an alternative web browser (Google Chrome is a supported browser for Proofpoint) or an incognito/private browsing window.
