The University of Otago offers a centrally-supported blog service. A blog is a website that is easily updated with articles, journal entries, images, and embedded links for video and music.

How do I make a post or page in Otago Blogs
To make a post or page in Otago Blogs:
Post
- Mouse over the Posts link in the left-hand menu and click on Add a new post from the menu displayed.
- Enter the text of your post into the content box and add media from the Media Library as required.
- Change the settings in the Publish section to make your post public or draft, or schedule a posting time/date.
- Click the Publish button to save your post.
Page
- Mouse over the Pages link in the left-hand menu and click on Add new page from the menu displayed.
- Enter the text of your post into the content box and add media from the Media Library as required.
- Change the settings in the Publish section to make your page public or draft, or schedule a posting time/date.
- Click the Publish button to save your page.
- To change the order your pages appear in at the top or side of your blog site, go to the All Pages option under the Pages link.
