The cost (living expenses, travel, and insurance) for your Otago Global exchange will depend on your destination. For an idea of living expenses, refer to the fact sheet for the relevant institution on the Exchange partners website:

You will pay 0.5 EFTS of your standard tuition fee to the University of Otago for each semester you are on exchange. You will also receive an Otago Global Student Exchange Scholarship and can continue to receive StudyLink loans and allowances while you are studying overseas on exchange.
