When you receive a programme offer in eVision, you can accept or decline the offer. Accepting an offer allows you to progress to the next stage of your enrolment. Declining an offer cancels your application for that programme.

You may receive either a conditional offer, which requires further conditions to be met before a full offer can be issued, or an unconditional offer, which is a full offer without any further requirements.

How do I accept an offer of place

To accept an offer of place:

  1. Log in to eVision.
  2. Go to My Programmes and Papers from the menu at the top of the page.
  3. Select the relevant programme. This opens a drop-down menu with more detailed information about the current status of your application.
  4. Select the Accept offer link in the drop-down menu.

If you are unable to accept an offer of place for a programme, there may be an issue with an aspect of your application, or a technical error in eVision.

Contact AskOtago if you are experiencing any issues with this part of the application process.

If you have not received an offer of place for a programme, it may be because there is some information missing from your application or we are awaiting results from your tertiary or high school studies before a decision can be made.

If you are missing documentation and need to provide this in order to continue your application, you may receive an email and/or eVision task requesting further information. You can upload the required information directly through this task link or message.
