The University of Otago offers an extensive range of health and safety training courses.
Training is offered in the following areas and roles:
- Driving
- Fire Warden
- First Aid
- Mental Health and Wellness
- DHSO Training
Most health and safety courses don't have any requirements, with some exceptions for refresher first aid courses.
Many health and safety training courses are free for University staff. Where there is a cost, this will be covered by your department in many cases.
