If you have a disability, impairment, or medical condition that may impact your study at Otago, you can add this information to your eVision portal. This information is restricted to Disability Information and Support, and some programmes who may require this for support service purposes. Recording your disability in the eVision portal also helps with government reporting.
While you are not required to disclose your disability or impairment, it can be helpful if you need specific or targeted support, such as a note-taker for dyslexia or accessible buildings for mobility issues.
Outside of the relevant areas of the University that require students’ disability information, your disclosure is otherwise private in accordance with University guidelines and procedures and the New Zealand Privacy Act.
You can amend your disability information in your eVision portal at any time.
