International travel insurance is required by all University of Otago staff and students undertaking University-funded travel. Staff and University-funded travellers are able to add private leisure travel days to a Chubb International business policy, and staff may also book their own leisure travel insurance through Chubb. A staff member will need to arrange the travel insurance on behalf of students travelling at the University's expense.
