Continuing Education at Otago shares the results of academic scholarship within and beyond the University community, fostering discussion on matters of public interest. It is non-credit and includes lectures, seminars, short courses, interest-only papers, professional development, and continued medical/executive education, taught by University staff.

Continuing Education is for:

  • Otago Alumni
  • Parents of current students
  • The University community of staff and students
  • The wider community of interested and/or professional people with access to Dunedin and other Otago campuses

The Continuing Education office offers support to those organising courses and helps promote them. If a department enquires about the Continuing Education fund or how to set up a course, refer them to the Continuing Education Office:
