Continuing Education at Otago shares the results of academic scholarship within and beyond the University community, fostering discussion on matters of public interest. It is non-credit and includes lectures, seminars, short courses, interest-only papers, professional development, and continued medical/executive education, taught by University staff.
Continuing Education is for:
- Otago Alumni
- Parents of current students
- The University community of staff and students
- The wider community of interested and/or professional people with access to Dunedin and other Otago campuses
The Continuing Education office offers support to those organising courses and helps promote them. If a department enquires about the Continuing Education fund or how to set up a course, refer them to the Continuing Education Office:
For queries about specific courses, refer directly to the relevant department.
The Continuing Education website also provides useful information such as how to register, guidelines on cancellations, refunds and resolving problems.
