Schools' Liaison officers visit New Zealand secondary schools during terms one and two each year to introduce senior students to the opportunities for living and learning at the University of Otago, and then again in terms three and four to help with course planning and advice.
Officers are based in Dunedin, Auckland, and Wellington.
Schools' Liaison officers are also available at other events held throughout the year, including Career Advisers update days, Dunedin Tertiary Open Days, and information evenings for students and parents. Liaison officers can provide course advice throughout the year to school leavers and domestic students who have not studied at tertiary level.
