Schools' Liaison officers visit New Zealand secondary schools during terms 1 and 2 each year to introduce senior students to the opportunities for living and learning at the University of Otago, and then again in terms 3 and 4 to help with course planning and advice.
Officers are based in Dunedin, Auckland, and Wellington.
School's Liaison officers are also available at other events are held throughout the year, such as career advisers' update days, the Dunedin tertiary open day, and information evenings for students and parents. They can provide course advice to school leavers, and domestic students who have not studied at tertiary level throughout the year.
