If you're having trouble seeing recent changes to a page, you may need to clear your web browser’s cache and cookies.

Cache and cookies can be cleared without clearing the full history, although you may need to log in to sites again.

To quickly open menus used to clear the cache, cookies, and history in a desktop browser, ensure that the browser is open and selected, and press Ctrl–Shift–Delete (Windows) or Command–Shift–Delete (Mac).

If this doesn't work, follow the linked instructions below for the browser. You can also try to access the website you are having issues with via a private/incognito browsing window, which can sometimes circumvent issues with cached credentials or cookies.

The steps to clear cache, cookies, and history may differ depending on the model of your Android device and your preferred browser, however, you should be able to clear the cache and data from the application management settings menu:

  1. Go to Settings and choose Apps or Application Manager.
  2. Swipe to the All tab.
  3. In the list of installed apps, find and tap the web browser.
  4. Tap Clear Data > Clear Cache.
  5. Close all browser windows and re–open the browser.
