In accordance with the University of Otago’s Campus Memorial Policy, if you are an individual or group with a demonstrated link to the University, you can request a memorial tree or plaque to be installed on campus at your expense. Over 60 individuals are remembered on campus through tree planting, and 10 organisations and events by plaques, park benches, and trees. Memorials are intended to commemorate staff, students, or alumni who have passed away, or a special event.
