The information provided here relates to students who have commenced study between 2018 and 2024 as the Government has advised they intend to change the Fees Free policy from 2025. The details of the change are yet to be confirmed and we will update our Fees Free information when we have been advised of the changes.
If you are enrolled for less than 1 EFTS (120 points) or $12,000 of Fees Free study in your first year of tertiary study, you may have some remaining Fees Free entitlement to carry forward to the following year.
For example, if you enrolled for 0.9 EFTS of Fees Free study in your first year of tertiary study you will generally have 0.1 EFTS of Fees Free to carry forward.
