The University of Otago holds a range of events including:

- Marketing expos and student recruitment
- International delegation events
- Public lectures
- Small events
The Events Hub provides management and support services for University events.
It is also possible to arrange external events using University facilities.
External events are not managed by the Events team.

Promoting or advertising events
Your divisional or campus Marketing Adviser can co-ordinate advertising and marketing and, if required, seek communications advice on whether journalists in newsrooms may also be interested in preview stories about the events:

Any requests regarding an online form that has been set up with the URL/web address events.otago.ac.nz/XXXXXXXXXXX (see example: https://events.otago.ac.nz/2021-new-zealand-management-accounting-conference/registration/Site/Register, advise the customer to contact: events@otago.ac.nz as this form is developed through the EventsAIR platform.
