The Tuakiri NZ Access Federation is the group of organisations who share a set of agreed policies and rules for access to online resources. The federation’s policies and rules enable you to use your University of Otago credentials to connect to resources without releasing unnecessary private information.

The Tuakiri system enables students, academics, alumni, and researchers to get secure and reliable access to computing resources and collaboration environments using the credentials given to them by their home organisation. The authorisation process is managed by the resource owner or an administrator that grants users permission to access the resource.

Tuakiri is administered by REANNZ (Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand Ltd). Refer to the Tuakiri NZ Access Federation Service Catalogue for the list of currently connected services and service providers. Some services provided by an institution may not be enabled for access via the Tuakiri system.
