If you borrow items from the University Library and they become overdue, a borrowing block is placed on your account. This prevents further borrowing or renewals.
To remove the borrowing block, return the overdue item as soon as possible.
If you cannot return the item, contact the Library at: ask.library@otago.ac.nz so Library staff can help with a solution to ensure you can get back to borrowing.
In some instances, replacement fees may apply – but the Library team will always aim to work with you to ensure a fair solution for everyone.
