Guest access in Teams allows a Team Owner to invite a person who does not have a University of Otago username to participate in their Team. Open the tip sheet below for instructions to add a guest to a Team:

When accessing a Teams site via a guest account on an iOS device, you will not be able to edit files using the Office apps (read-only access). You can work around this by opening the Team site in the Safari browser and using the Office web apps to edit files.
If someone has added a Guest to a Microsoft 365 Team and wants to change their display name at a later date, log the request directly through to ITS Infrastructure, who will put it through to the Mail Admins.
