If you have submitted the wrong file in a Blackboard assignment/examination, you may be able to resubmit a new file. Not all examinations allow resubmission.
If you are allowed to submit an assignment more than once, you will see a Start New Submission function on the Review Submission History page. You can access this page by clicking the assignment link in your course.
To find out if you can resubmit your assignment/examination, or if you can see the Blackboard examination has been set to allow only one attempt, contact AskOtago
Check to see if paper allows a resubmit.
If it is one attempt only, you will need to escalate to the Examinations team for Blackboard exam support They may be able to clear the attempt to allow the student to re-submit.
If the submitted attempt is unable to be cleared, Examinations can advise if there is an alternative option.
Advise the student to complete an Online Examinations Incident Report and complete one yourself as the Examinations team will need to use this to confirm the student's account.
