Skills Matter provides funding for postgraduate training for new graduates and existing practitioners working in DHB, NGO and primary care settings, including nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists and addiction practitioners.
Te Pou manages Skills Matter funding on behalf of Ministry of Health.

- Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences endorsed in Addiction and Co-existing Disorders, Christchurch campus
Assessment and management of co-existing substance use and mental health
- Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences endorsed in Nursing (Leadership and Management), Christchurch campus
Clinical leadership in nursing practice
- Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences endorsed in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences endorsed in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Wellington campus
