You can apply to graduate when invited in eVision and you have indicated that you will be a finalist for your current year of study. Students who are not marked as finalists will normally not receive an invitation to the upcoming ceremony.
Who is this available to
Students who have been marked/marked themselves as finalists for their current year of study. ‘Finalist’ status indicates that you will meet or have already met the requirements for completing your degree at Otago.
If you were previously NOT listed as a finalist in eVision and this has since changed, contact AskOtago immediately and before the closing date of graduation ceremony applications.
How do I apply to graduate
Make an application to graduate via your eVision student portal. You can only view the link and apply when applications for your intended ceremony are open:
- Log in to eVision.
- Click on My Graduation, then See more.
- Under the Apply to Graduate heading, click Your graduation application.
- Answer all the questions.
- Submit your application.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address. If you have not received this by the end of the following business day, email graduation@otago.ac.nz immediately.
- Once your application has been submitted, you can view a summary of your graduation details in eVision.
If applications have opened and you cannot see the graduation application link in eVision, contact AskOtago immediately and before the closing date.
