If you have hired academic dress (regalia), you will need to return it to the Academic Dress rooms when you have finished using it.
Who is this available to
University of Otago students and staff who have hired academic dress for a graduation ceremony.
How do I return academic dress
- Academic dress must be returned in the same condition as it was issued. The full cost will be charged for any lost or damaged academic dress which exceeds NZ$600.00.
Return your academic dress immediately after your ceremony, or the following day.
- Return dates and times are in your confirmation email, and in the relevant graduation ceremony itinerary available on the Graduation at Otago website
Academic dress can be returned to one of the following locations:
- The Academic Dress rooms in the central basement (B20-23) of the Clocktower Building
- The Town Hall (through the Glenroy Auditorium entrance) following the ceremony
