University of Otago students on conditional enrolment are required to complete a Back on Track plan before their papers can be course approved by a designated advisor of studies in Student Development.

Student Advisers provide you with course advice and support to ensure your paper selection is appropriate, along with connecting you to wider University support services.

When to submit a Back on Track plan

There is no official deadline for submission of the Back on Track plan. The earlier you add papers and complete your plan, the sooner your course can be approved and your enrolment completed. Until your course is approved, and you have completed the course declaration, you will not have access to resources and may have implications for your StudyLink application.

How do I access a Back on Track plan

The Back on Track plan is completed in eVision. Conditional Enrolment students will be prompted to complete this form after adding papers and before submitting for course approval.

To complete and submit a Back on Track plan:

  1. Refer to the alert in your eVision portal for relevant details.
  2. Enter paper selection and add papers.
  3. Click Continue, then wait for the timetable scheduler to run.
  4. Complete the Back on Track plan for conditional enrolment in eVision.
  5. Submit for course approval.

You can seek course advice from Student Development at any stage throughout this process.
