A timetable clash occurs when a student has two teaching events scheduled at the same time. There are two types of timetable clashes: allowable and exceptional.

You can apply in eVision to have a timetable clash allowed. Exceptional timetable clashes will not be permitted if your previous year's GPA is less than 4.

Who is this available to

Students who are enrolled in a programme at the University of Otago.

Students on conditional enrolment or other specific flags/conditions may not be able to use this service.

Health Sciences First Year (HSFY) and Health Sciences Professional Programmes (HSUPP) students use a separate application process to change their timetable. For more information contact your course co-ordinator or email health-sciences@otago.ac.nz
