How do I submit a PhD thesis
To submit your doctoral thesis:
- Advise your supervisor of your intention to submit at least two months prior to your intended date.
- Submit a final copy to Turnitin for a plagiarism check.
- Email: phd@otago.ac.nz by the middle of the month you intend to submit, or by the first week of the month if you intend to submit in December.
- When you are ready, you will need to submit:
- A digital PDF file of your thesis
- A signed Thesis submission declaration form (PDF 242KB). A digital signature is acceptable. A photocopied or scanned declaration is acceptable as long as the signature is handwritten or digital – not typed
