Request a digital copy of a qualification

Digital copies of qualifications are available in My eQuals.

Who is this available to

All students who studied prior to December 2017 at the University of Otago.

If you graduated after December 2017, your qualification certificates are automatically published to My eQuals.

How do I request a digital copy of a qualification

To request a digital copy of your qualification certificate:

1. Email graduation@otago.ac.nz including your:
   • Full name, including any middle name/s (as recorded at the time you studied)
   • Date of birth
   • Programme of study
   • Last year at the University of Otago
   • Preferred email address for the confirmation email
     • If you have already set up a My eQuals account, provide the email address you use to log in
2. Your certificate will be uploaded to My eQuals.
3. An email will notify you that your document is ready to view, with instructions to register for My eQuals if required.
