The University of Otago offers a number of entrance scholarships, which can help pay for university study or residential accommodation expenses. You can apply for an entrance scholarship through the eVision portal from 1 July.
How do I apply for an entrance scholarship
To apply for a University of Otago undergraduate entrance scholarship:
- Log in or create an account in eVision (including selecting an undergraduate programme of study. You can change your programme selection later if you need to).
- Complete the first three steps of your University application (Personal details, Contact details, and Educational background).
- Go to My Scholarships and Awards on the main page of your eVision portal and select Apply Now.
- Complete the sections of the application that are relevant to you.
- Submit your application by the specified date.
When can I expect an outcome
If you applied for an entrance scholarship with a 15 August closing date, it is anticipated that you will receive notification of the first outcome by mid-October.
For entrance scholarships with a later closing date, you will receive an alert in your eVision portal to advise you of the outcome of your application.
