You can apply for a recount of final examination results by completing the online form and paying the fee before the deadline.
Who is this available to
University of Otago students who are undertaking (or have completed) their final examinations and have received a result they feel should be re-assessed.
It is important to note that your work will not be re-marked. At the University of Otago, there is no provision for any work to be re-marked.
How do I apply for a recount of results
If you need to apply for a recount of final examination results:
- Complete the online Recount of results form.
- Pay the fee of NZ$36.00 per paper.
- Submit the form and fee before the deadline
How much does it cost
There is a fee of NZ$36.00 per paper. Once you submit the form, a link will be emailed to you to make the payment by debit or credit card.
If your result changes because an error is found, your academic record will be amended and the recount fee for that paper will be refunded.
When can I expect delivery
The process can take several weeks.
