Students from outside the University of Otago wishing to carry out unpaid, or other academic work related to their studies.
How do apply to be a visiting student
To visit the University of Otago for your studies or research:
- Contact the department you want to visit. You will need the department's agreement to host you while you are visiting the University.
- Read the information available on Visiting Students.
- Complete the Visiting Students Application Form.
- Submit the form.
How much does it cost
There is no cost directly associated with a visit, but students are expected to cover any accommodation and living costs whilst visiting.
