High school students who are in Year 12 or 13 can apply to attend Hands-On at Otago.

How do I access it

To apply, you will need to:

1. Select your top five project preferences
2. Organise your supporting documentation:
   • Qualifications (NCEA, Cambridge, IB etc.)
   • Details of any extracurricular achievements/involvement, both school-related and outside of school
   • A personal statement outlining why you should be chosen to attend Hands-On at Otago
3. Arrange to get a signed endorsement from your principal or teacher.
4. Make sure a parent/caregiver will be prepared to sign their consent.
5. Once applications open, start your application through the online Application form:
