Eligible students can apply for limited full-time status to be treated by StudyLink as full-time for student loans and student allowances.
Before applying, eligible students are required to have completed a declaration and be fully enrolled in the applicable study year.
How do I apply for limited full-time status
To apply to StudyLink for limited full-time status:
- Complete the StudyLink – Limited Full-Time Status application form (PDF 282KB).
- Request a supporting statement from an authorised staff member:
- For health-related applications, contact the Disability Information and Support office
- For finalist applications, complete the declaration section on the form, then contact AskOtago to request a supporting
statement.
You do not send the application form to AskOtago. AskOtago provides a completed statement section to include with the application
- Send the completed application form, including the supporting statement, to StudyLink.
