How do I apply for examination alternative arrangements

To apply for alternative arrangements in your final University of Otago examinations:

  1. Log in to eVision.
  2. Check that your examination timetable is visible in your eVision (if it isn't available, you will need to wait until it is).
  3. Once the examination timetable is available, go to Examinations and Results.
  4. Open the Other Exams and Results Information to find the Apply Here button.
  5. Attach appropriate supporting documentation, unless up-to-date documentation is already held on file by Disability Information and Support.

Log in to eVision

If the paper/s you want to apply for is not selectable in eVision, you need to contact Disability Information and Support: disabilities@otago.ac.nz at least 10 days prior to the exam date. Include in the email:

  • Paper code
  • Examination date
  • Examination start and finish times
  • Course co-ordinator's name
  • The arrangements you are applying for
