How do I create a Qualtrics account

To create a Qualtrics account:

When can I expect delivery

Expect return within three working days, after the order has been lodged with the Software Procurement Team

If you are a staff member, create a Qualtrics account:

  1. Go to the Qualtrics sign-in page
  2. Click the Don't have an account? link.
  3. Enter your University of Otago email and leave the Access Code section blank.
  4. You will be emailed a link to activate your account.
  • If you need to be assigned the role of "Divison Administrator"  contact AskOtago to request this. 

Open Qualtrics

If you require your students to run a survey, you will need a staff member to be assigned the "Division Administrator" role for your department (or "Division" in Qualtrics).

Requests for access to Qualtrics should be assigned directly to Justin Elliot in the Software Procurement queue in CRSM.
The Software Procurement queue is not actively monitored, so requests not assigned to Justin Elliot are likely to be missed.
If a user becomes locked out of their Qualtrics account, Software Procurement are not able to manually unlock the account. The account will automatically unlock after one hour. If they require a password reset, assign to Justin Elliot in Software Procurement.
