The University of Otago offers International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examinations on campus. All bookings are made through the IELTS booking system.
The test measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills — listening, reading, writing, and speaking — for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.
IELTS is accepted as evidence of English language proficiency for the purpose of admission.
