The University of Otago holds career events throughout the year to give students the chance to meet face-to-face with employers and find out about job opportunities. If you are interested in developing your professional network during or after your studies are complete, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. At career events, students can:
- Find out about graduate-level job openings and internships
- Know what employers look for in graduates
- Learn about companies' culture and values
- Meet face-to-face with employers
- Start networking at career expos and presentations
There are also casual employment opportunities available through the University, aimed at students interested in assisting our academic staff with tutorials, class organisation, and essay marking.
