Student Development advisers are available for drop-in advice on the University of Otago's Dunedin campus for students who require assistance with their academic planning or progress.

How do I attend a drop-in course advice appointment

To seek course advice via Student Development's drop-in service:

  1. Go to the AskOtago Central Hub desk in the Information Services Building (corner of Albany and Cumberland Streets, opposite the Otago Museum) on Monday 1pm to 4pm, and Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 4pm.
  2. Advise the AskOtago staff member that you would like to meet with a Student Development adviser for course advice or support.
  3. They will let Student Development advisers know that you are waiting to be seen. Depending on demand there may be a wait.
  4. Take a seat as directed and the Student Development adviser will collect you when it is your turn.
