Graduation guest tickets are collected from the AskOtago Central Hub in the Information Services Building (ISB).

Who is this available to

University of Otago students and staff who have applied for guest tickets for an upcoming graduation ceremony. There is often a "cap" on how many tickets each student can apply for, so make sure to check this limit in your eVision portal.

How do I collect graduation guest tickets

As a student graduating in person, you will need to collect your guest tickets for the ceremony. To do this:

  1. Check your relevant graduation guide for collection times.
  2. Go to the AskOtago Central Hub in the Information Services Building (ISB) with photo identification.
  3. Collect your tickets.

It is preferred that you collect your tickets yourself. If it is necessary to have someone else collect your tickets on your behalf, refer to the related article Collect graduation tickets on behalf.

Anyone collecting tickets must provide photographic identification.

Along with your tickets, you will receive a Graduation booklet. We recommend that either yourself or one of your guests take the booklet along to the graduation ceremony. Additional booklets will not be available at the ceremony. For your convenience, a QR code will be included on the contents page of the booklet and on your guest tickets.

A small number of additional tickets may be available at the time of collection at AskOtago. These are on a first-in, first-served basis and will be limited to only two additional tickets. Any additional tickets may not be in the same seating area as your allocated tickets.

How much does this cost

There is no cost for graduation guest tickets.
