Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is the process of assessing and recording prior non-credentialled learning for admission purposes. Any credit granted is termed "RPL credit". To gain this credit, you need to submit an application.
How do I apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) credit
To submit an application for recognition of prior non-credentialled learning (RPL credit):
- Contact the department or school offering the paper:
- School of Māori, Pacific & Indigenous Studies — Te Tumu for MAOR 102, MAOR 108, MAOR 111 and MAOR 112
- School of Surveying for SURV 101
- Provide details of your prior learning.
- The department or school will advise if you can be credited with the paper/s.
Application deadlines
- 30 November for candidates intending to enrol in semester 1 of the following year
- 30 May for candidates intending to enrol for semester 2 of the current year
