If your eVision account shows a credit, you can request a refund.
How do I request a refund of tuition fees
To request a refund:
- Ensure your bank account details are up to date in eVision.
- Contact AskOtago with your refund request.
StudyLink payments
If your tuition fees were paid by StudyLink, the refund will be returned to them and credited against your student loan balance.
Employer-paid fees
If your tuition fees were invoiced directly to your employer, Student Finance will contact your employer to arrange the refund.
If your tuition fees were invoiced to your eVision tuition fee account and your employer subsequently paid part or all of your tuition, you can choose to:
- Receive the refund directly to your bank account, or
- Have the refund returned to your employer
