Anyone booked to sit an OET can cancel it.

How do I cancel an OET booking

To cancel an OET:

  1. Log in to your myOET Candidate profile.
  2. Locate your booking and select Withdraw.
  3. Depending on how close to the test date you have cancelled, you may be entitled to a refund.
  4. The administration fee and the non-refundable booking fee will be deducted from your refund.

How much does it cost

If you cancel before bookings close, the cancellation fee is approximately NZ$130 (plus the approximately NZ$8 non-refundable booking fee) depending on the exchange rate.

If you cancel after bookings close, the cancellation fee is approximately NZ$220 (plus the approximately NZ$8 non-refundable booking fee) depending on the exchange rate.

How much you'll be refunded varies will depend on when you submit your cancellation.
