To download and install the eduVPN software:

Ensure all programs on your computer are closed prior to downloading and installing the eduVPN software as you may need to restart your computer afterwards.

For desktop or laptop computers with Software Centre/Center installed:

  1. Search for and open the Software Centre/Center on your computer.
  2. Search for eduVPN Client, click on the icon and then click Install.

For desktop or laptop computers without Software Centre/Center installed:

  1. Go to https://www.eduvpn.org/client-apps/ and select the tab for the operating system of your computer.
  2. Click the Download button and save the installer file.
  3. Locate the installer file on your computer and double–click it to start the installation process.
  4. Follow through the regular installation prompts. This will require administrator credentials for the computer — if you don’t have administrator credentials for your computer contact AskOtago
