Your Multifactor Authentication (MFA) can be set up to receive a SMS with a code to your phone or to use the Microsoft Authenticator App. This article is about how to change your preferred MFA method.

Microsoft Multi-factor Authentication is used by staff member, students, and external users to log into some University systems when not on campus.

How do I update the MFA method

  1. Go to the MFA setup page found in here
  2. Click on the Sign in another way link and follow the instructions above to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app as your preferred verification method.
