University Flats (Uni Flats) are houses or flats managed and maintained by the University Flats team. Uni Flats are located close to campus and offer independent living with the support of a University of Otago-managed flat.

- International postgraduate students
- Study Abroad students
- Exchange students
Domestic students in their second or third year of study may be eligible in limited circumstances. Contact Uni Flats for information about availability.
How do I apply for a Uni Flat
If you have not applied for University of Otago accommodation before
- Log in to eVision.
- Select Residential Colleges and Uni Flats under the My Details box.
- Select Login with personal email to access the Te Puna accommodation portal.
- Select Forgotten/Reset Password and wait for the password reset email.
- Follow the instructions in the email to register.
- Complete the Uni Flats application in Te Puna.
If you have previously applied for University accommodation
- Go to the Te Puna student accommodation portal.
- Log in using your University username and password.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and select the Uni Flats option to begin your application.
How much does this cost
There is no charge to apply for a Uni Flat.
