Student Services Fees must be paid in New Zealand dollars using any one of the following means:
- Internet banking (NZ bank account holders)
- Telegraphic transfer
- Convera
- EFTPOS or credit card at AskOtago (Dunedin campus only)
- Government student loan – StudyLink
- Third party payment
How do I pay the Student Services Fee
Internet banking
You can make payment with internet banking by searching for "University of Otago – Tuition" under Registered payees in your banking application (New Zealand banks only). This ensures that payment is made to the correct bank account. Make sure to include your name and student ID as the payment reference.
Telegraphic transfer
To pay your Student Services Fee by telegraphic transfer:
- Transfer funds from your bank account to the University of Otago bank account:
- Bank and address: ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited, ANZ Auckland Branch, 203 Queen Street, PO Box 62, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
- Bank Account Name: University of Otago
- Bank Account Number: 01-1839-0944124-01
- SWIFT Code: ANZBNZ22 (for payments outside New Zealand)
- Include your name and student ID number in the reference
Convera
To make Convera payments:
- Go to the Convera website
- Complete the required information and follow the prompts to make payment.
EFTPOS/credit card
You may also pay your fees in person at the AskOtago Central Hub on the Dunedin campus, located on the ground floor of the Central Library on the corner of Albany Street and Cumberland Street. Payment is available by EFTPOS or credit card. A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
