As an Otago Blogs administrator, you can add, edit, delete, and organise your Otago Blogs posts and pages by using the Posts or Pages links in the left-hand menu.

Who is this available to

Staff members who have Administration privileges for the blog.

How do I make a post or page

To make a new post:

  1. Mouse over the Posts link in the left-hand menu and click on Add a new post from the menu displayed.
  2. Enter the text of your post into the content box and add media from the Media Library as required.
  3. Change the settings in the Publish section to make your post public or draft, or schedule a posting time/date.
  4. Click the Publish button to save your post.

To make a new page:

  1. Mouse over the Pages link in the left-hand menu and click on Add new page from the menu displayed.
  2. Enter the text of your post into the content box and add media from the Media Library as required.
  3. Change the settings in the Publish section to make your page public or draft, or schedule a posting time/date.
  4. Click the Publish button to save your page.
  5. To change the order your pages appear in at the top or side of your blog site, go to the All Pages option under the Pages link.
