Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), known as the Identity Self Service portal, allows you to manage your password and set or update your recovery questions.

If you know your current password, but you want to proactively change it, you can log in to OIM and set a new password. If you do not know your current password, you can reset your password via the "Forgotten your password?" link on University of Otago login pages.

The first time you set your password, you will be asked to set three challenge questions as part of the account creation process. If you need to reset your password in future via the "Forgotten your password?" link, you will be asked to provide the answers to these questions to verify your identity.

If you want to change your selected questions, or update the answers, you can do this via OIM.
