Grounds Services work year-round to ensure gardens and trees across the University of Otago's campus are well-maintained, including those around the residential colleges and University Flats. 

Maintaining the University's gardens and trees is a continuous process. Each job is scheduled according to season, planning, and priorities.

Gardening and planting services include, but are not limited to:

  • Compost and mulch
  • Worm farms
  • Planter boxes
  • Weed removal
  • New or replanting gardens

Requests can be made for additional gardening and planting services where required.
