Lawns are mowed regularly throughout the year at the University, including those at residential colleges and University Flats. Grounds Services also undertakes specialised lawn maintenance over the course of the year.
Specialised lawn maintenance includes:
- Fertilisation
- Insect control
- Weed spraying
- Moss control
- Seeding
- Soil cultivation (coring, thatching, and mole ploughing)
- Top dressing
Grounds Services ensure that the University's lawns are well-kept and healthy year-round.
