For more information, visit the Parking SharePoint site

All reports of unauthorised parking from Parkable-managed parks must be submitted in the Parkable app. For faster processing of enforcement, a licence plate should be submitted no more than once per day.

Departmentally funded and Residential College parks

To report an unauthorised vehicle from a departmentally funded park or a Residential College park:

  1. Email: parking@otago.ac.nz with high importance and the subject heading "UNAUTHORISED PARKING".
  2. Include the following information:
    • Car park area name and park number
    • Registration number
    • Vehicle details (make, model, colour)
    • Any company details, if applicable
    • Photograph of the unauthorised vehicle (optional)

All emails must be submitted by the departmental email address associated with the administration and lease of the park.

How much does this cost

There is no charge to report unauthorised parking. Any costs associated with enforcement will be the responsibility of the unauthorised vehicle's owner.
