Moodle is the primary system used for the management of papers for Health Science students. Students have access to communication tools, course materials, discussion forums, online assessments, and other features to help manage study.

Health Science students at the University of Otago.

How do I access Moodle

To access Moodle:

Year 2 to 6 Medicine students should use MedMoodle.

MedMoodle

All students taking postgraduate and other non-Medicine papers within Health Sciences should use HSMoodle.

Logging in to Moodle

  1. Once you have accessed Moodle using one of the buttons above, click on the Manual Login link in the top right corner.
  2. On the page with the University of Otago logo, click the Otago Login button.
  3. Enter your University email and password.

You should now be logged in to Moodle.

If you are trying to log in to Moodle from off-campus, you will need to use multifactor authentication for security reasons. Refer to the related article: Multifactor authentication (MFA) methods to find out how you need to proceed.
