How do I apply for conference travel funding

To apply for conference travel funding:

1. Request support from your supervisor to attend a conference relating to your research.
2. Open the Application for Conference Travel Funding for PhD Students guidelines (PDF 46KB)
3. Read the eligibility criteria and further information.
4. Open the PhD Conference Support Application Form (PDF 75KB).
5. Attach the following to your application:
   • Documentary evidence of your participation in the conference
   • A copy of the abstract of your paper
   • Evidence supporting the amount applied for
6. Complete all details.
7. Send the completed form with attachments to your departmental administrator.
